“BAMA, Another Medium Sized Canvas”

Aerosol spray paint and Markers on Canvas,

2019.

23"x 29"

A collectable work from BAMA, a living legend, considered one of the first NYC graffiti artists that wrote for the purpose of repetitive exposure, not just to claim territory or presence. BAMA is also one of the first known `writers to take his work from walls and trains to canvas. These actions would go on to herald a new worldwide art form.

Disclaimer: The work shows age, a reflection of it’s authenticity, this is not a restored or altered piece in anyway. There is a small unrepaired tear on the canvas about three quarters of the way down on the right side. It can bee seen when looking up close.
